Unfortunately, anger wasn't something you could chemically neuter on a whim, not like sending anyone who dares to try to touch them to sleep. Which several more people tried before that consequence became obvious. And gave the mob somewhere new to focus.

Sleeper decided to lead the still-mobile folks away a bit, doing their best to keep Dylan and his ally out of exposure, and finally manages to get them to just start milling around in confusion, having forgotten exactly what they were up to. It wasn't exactly the kindest thing to do, but confusion and contentment usually sufficed to get people to just...go off on their way.

Which was when they left this mob dispersing to rejoin the others.
