One of the things Bart loves about Little Love is the open-air markets. He's actually got some small deals with a few people who give him a per pound price for excess produce from his vegetable garden and then package it up for the folks who want mixed boxes, which is why he'd loaded up red wagon he'd picked up at a yard sale with canvas bags and leashed the cat for a meander.

It was nice having good, unusual crops that were still recognizable to anyone who wasn't big on commercial monocultures, and the extra went to the stuff he either hadn't managed to get to prosper or weren't currently in prime season in this part of the world.

He was just finishing up at his final drop-off when he heard someone asking for a grocery store. Turning, Bart couldn't help a slight smile. "You don't really want the grocery store. There's nothing as good as what's here, unless you're really into prepackaged crap."
