He looked to the cat, slowly reaching out a hand before stopping. Rex had adopted a rather ugly old cat for him a few months back that had, unfortunately, passed away not long after she had settled in. However, that brief period of time had taught him that a cat decided if they wanted to be petted, the desires of the human be damned.
