[It's about then that Chrissy reaches over to grab his hand, and pulls him into the nearest alleyway. She looks him up and down, hands on her hips as she really takes all of him in. And then when she seems satisfied, she reaches out to poke him right on the chest.]

I lived my entire life with everyone else telling me what to do. Nobody gets to do that now. Not even you.

[With her little assertion of independence out in the open, she relaxes back. If he doesn't want her to stand so close, then she won't.]

There's another you here, you know. And I've been here for six months. I was dead when I got here. But they were able to bring me back and keep me in the hospital long enough to fix me.

[Fix is a relative term though. She looks like a ragdoll that's been sewn together, with all the pathways of scars along her arms and legs.]

Everything in this world s confusing. It's loud and it's terrifying. But finding you here again is one of the only things that feels like it makes sense.
