Sephiroth is being the more rational one, which Balthier would admit even if he knows he's not going to correct his own behavior. He's lost everything too recently to let the fear of it take him again so quickly.

It's easy to be calm in the face of this; automatic, even, but it doesn't mean he isn't itching to go check that his loved ones are still here and not whisked off somewhere else. Wants to check with the guild updates, wants something to do to steer this ship the way he wants it.
