I just can't get them all out at the same time and keep these idiots from hurting themselves.
[He pleads with the people in the crowd.]
She's right. We want to help. You're scared because of what's going on. We understand.
So are we. [It's honest and true and does get some of the crowd to listen. Admitting fear is not a thing a lot of heroes do. Sometimes people need their heroes to be fearless but vulnerability sometimes meets them where they are, too.] We have no clue what this is and the people behind us don't, either, but if we all just act on that fear innocent people will get hurt. Some of them are from your world, they're not even from the Confluences.

[Even though some of the people in the crowd are actually listening to the two heroes and and simmering down a little, not all of them are.]

The shells are caught in the shimmering blue-white field in front of him - a different color than the bubbles and gold of his normal kinetic field, the momentum sapped out of them and funneled into his kinetic field.]
[Robbie takes advantage of the shock of the crowd (some alarmed by someone actually going through with violence, others shocked the bullets were just...caught) and grabs the gun out of the woman's hands, smashing it with kinetic energy.]
SG, get them out of here! I'll be fine!
[She's not the only one with a gun, someone has to block.]
